“On a scale from I to X, how dost thine soul feel today?”
Medieval ER, the low-brow, middle-ages, high-stakes improvised soap opera returns for a 3-episode run October 2nd, 9th, and 16th at Teller Productions Workshop!
Set in 1300s London just before the outbreak of the Black Plague, the hospital staff of St. Modernus Monastery do everything they can to treat their patient’s impossible ailments all while battling their own internal battles. Medieval ER spins the threads of modern hospital melodramas like Grey’s Anatomy and ER into an improvised historical medical farce that ArtsATL called “comedy gold”.
Medieval ER makes its return on Fridays, October 2-16, 8pm at Teller Productions Workshop.
Tickets are pay-what-you-can, $10 suggested donation.
“In a time when laughter is just what the doctor ordered, Medieval ER more than fills the prescription.” -Jordan Owen, ArtsATL
